Confettiz was born during my university years as part of a business project, but the idea had actually started much earlier. Back in the pandemic, I discovered the colorful worlds of kidcore and decora kei fashion, and they brought me so much comfort and inspiration during hard times. I dreamed of dressing in bright outfits full of clips, bracelets, and color—but when I looked for this type of style in Mexico, I could only find it on Shein. I didn’t want to rely on fast fashion, so I thought: If I can’t find it, I’ll make it myself.At first, my vision for Confettiz was all about plushies and figures, inspired by brands I love like Tokidoki, Build-A-Bear, Beanie Babies, and Gloomy Bear. I imagined characters you could collect and connect with. While plushies are still one of my biggest goals, I decided to start small with something I also deeply love—stationery. That’s how Confettiz officially began: as a colorful stationery & merch brand filled with unique characters, stickers, buttons, notebooks, and keychains.

Every product is handmade with care and creativity, often designed, printed, and assembled by me. Behind each item is my passion for character design and self-expression. Inspired by Sanrio and other mascot-based brands, I created a cast of original characters, each representing different modern aesthetics. The idea is that everyone can find a character to relate to—whether they see themselves in one, or mix styles and connect with several at once.Confettiz is currently run by me (the creator and artist behind the project), but every character plays a symbolic “role” in the shop’s identity. Over time, I hope the brand grows to include clothing and plushies—the original dream—and becomes a place where people feel safe, happy, and proud of their unique style.At its heart, Confettiz is about celebrating individuality, creativity, and freedom of expression. It’s a brand made with love, color, and the belief that the world is better when we dare to be ourselves. 🌈✨

Illustrator and graphic designer from Monterrey, Nuevo León. She is in charge of developing concepts, illustrating, producing merchandise, product photography, social media content, content creation, video editing, online sales, customer service, website design, content organization, inventory counting, ordering supplies, packing, product delivery, negotiating, and selling.... Also, she loves shark gummies.
